"So, as you all know summer around Kansas can be unbearable, especially without air conditioning. We were rudely reminded of this fact about a week ago. Our air conditioner went to HVAC heaven over the weekend. This is where I will add how blessed I am to have a large family, because they all own houses and have already weeded out the really good contractors. "We have had several different HVAC companies come out and work on our heating/cooling system over the last 1 1/2 years. MY have been hosed by several companies and decided to install an entire new system (air handler and heat pump). We called several companies for quotes. Some of which didn't even call us back. I called CM Service late on Tuesday night. Wednesday morning Curtis (the owner of CM Service) was at our home. He did an entire evaluation of our duct work and determined our main problem was in the cold air return. He could easily add an extra cold air return on the back side of closet behind the furnace room. We got a quote from him for fixing the cold air return and installing an energy efficient 15 seer system. We decided to go with their company to install it. Friday morning they were here early to get started. Within a few hours we had Cold air blowing again. Curtis was very professional and thorough. He walked us through how to register our New Lennox Elite products for the factory 10 year warranty. He also walked us through running the entire system. He was very reasonable priced too.
