"Was looking for a good boxing gym to learn real skills, and get in good exercise with people who are positive. Started as a total beginner, and Zach paired me with a trainer on my first session to learn the fundamentals. Every other workout has been with different members of various experience levels, but all whom know their stuff. The pairings really help drive home good habits, and encouragement, while Zach monitos everyone and offers advice along with explanations that make sense. Only a few weeks in, and I feel that I’ve learned a ton, self confidence has gone up, and I look forward to every class I attend. If I could give the gym 10 stars, I would."

"Did a private lesson and a group class here when visiting the area. Great gym! Super atmosphere with very welcoming staff and other members and none of the “attitude” that can be intimidating at boxing gyms sometimes when coming in as a new patron. Excellent drills, individualized attention and quality of instruction. If I lived in KC (or if I decided to move there in the future) this would definitely be my spot!"

"Sweet Z's Gym is amazing. I had the pleasure of training there this past summer when I was visiting in Kansas City, and it was the highlight of the summer. The workouts are challenging at all levels, and you get great instruction in boxing. The owner, Zach, is friendly and laid back, but at the same time a top-notch teacher, and takes a personal interest in each person's boxing development. He also has a solid background in other martial arts which I found helpful in learning how to blend boxing technique with other martial arts (boxing is not readily available where I live). The people who train at the gym were all very helpful and friendly, and hard workers, pushing themselves and inspiring me--without feeling pressured about it--to train harder and do my best. Zach also offers self defense classes for kids. Our family schedule only allowed my son to go to one session, but he loved it. In sum, Sweet Z's is a great place to work out, learn boxing, and have fun."
