"Yes, I agree with Gordon Emerson's comment. I spoke to a representative today, and she was very vague when I asked her about the claim that Phycox is the only animal product that contains Phycocyanin. I know for a fact that any product with AFA (the blue green algae that Phycox sources their phycocyanin from) contains phycoyanin. This means that products like THE EDGE and others whom have been selling AFA to pets for many years, also contain this compound with its anti-inflammatory and mood elevating properties. Thus, Phycox is NOT the only product with phycocyanin, as they claim in their ad. The rep hung up on me before I could finish speaking."
"False claims are being made about their Phycox product being the only product that has "phycocyanin". Any product with blue-green algae in it (AFA or spirulina) naturally contains phycocyanin. It is the 'blue' part of blue-green algae that helps with inflammation, etc."
"I paid 19 dollars and change for Vetrolpolycin, 3.5 g/1/8 oz. I squezed the tube, and half way through a complete collapse of the middle, finally got just a dab, small amount out for my dog. REST IS AIR, don't fill tubes, rip off! Only 1/3 full, how's your money going? $!.50 for an orange? LOUSY FILL"
