"Threw me out when it was snowing outside and there was already 5 inches of snow outside. Had nowhere to go and they offered to take me to the bus stop 16 miles away. Condensing and critical. I remember having a job offer in town and was so excited that I went and told the office only to find out that Emily had applied at the same place. I remember that night hearing my advocate tell Emily "she's only got a pretty face " it was hurtful."
"This place is by far a wonderful place the staff is very caring and helpful! My advocate was Emily I literally had not a single thing when I got there from my birth certificate, to social to just my life being a disaster! She helped me accomplish retrieving these things and listened when I truly had lost all hope within my situation. I thank you very kindly and to the others I am blessed to have met along the way."
"Each on of them has been there for me and my of them sat next to me at the court dates that I was at. They truly care, and they put action into their words. I feel safe when I’m in the same court room with the man who attacked me because I have my advocates."
"Awful ! I would not recommend if you have babies. Some of the staff are rude. The manager is rude and disrespectful. Not helpful at all. The only nice person there was Emily. Emily was kind and welcoming and Rebecca was nice and welcoming too. Everyone else was rude. Katie was so rude to me and is just rude in General. Katie did not make the place feel welcoming. Very unprofessional!!"
"My saving grace as a young preteen and being in a shelter. At the current time many moons ago… The director of house of hope actually helped my family become safe and stable. They made all of us (large family.) feel the most at home that they could all things considered. Now years later, I am stuck in the not best situation and again House of Hope has constantly been blunt with me. (Which to be honest probably made me more upset at first.) The probing questions allow me to process exactly how hard it could be to become the new me and the best me. Preparing you for what’s potentially to come. They’ve given me love, while also giving me the hard facts and ensuring I make the correct steps to never end up here again. All of these negative reviews really do suck. All that these women and men do for people is amazing. I’ve been not ready to commit like I said. I completely understand that sadly they can’t do right by every single person. However every day they come to work and help every single person they can. They I am sure also go home every single night and think of all the people they didn’t get to help. 5 stars. i wish there was more than stars!"
