They let our family stay in a room as long as we needed and supported us through this loss. I will always be grateful for this place. Dr went above and beyond for us."

"It has taken me a while to write this review because we lost our little Jackie. She had been sick for a while with a tumor and then one evening it just got worse and her breathing was really bad. We took her to this veterinarian, and Dr. Farmer was so passionate and so caring, we thought we were going to have to have her put down but while we were sitting there talking with Dr. Farmer about her condition, it was obvious she was passing. Dr. Farmer picked her up took her very lovingly and was carrying her back to begin the process when she turned around and came back, and Jackie had passed , everyone in the office was very caring and very understanding, and Dr. Farmer stood there after Jackie had passed and we petted her and talked about her. She’s just very caring and very passionate about her job. I highly recommend this veterinarian."

"Saved my dog's life. I brought my 10 year old cavalier in probably around 7pm, not knowing why she was displaying the sudden onset of symptoms she was having. Right away they checked her vitals and started helping her. Turns out she had managed to eat a star-shaped metal hair barrette which we only learned after the doctors and staff promptly started diagnostics. Given her age and being a smaller dog I was terrified this was it. By 8:30 she had not only been diagnosed but we had our treatment plan, a transparent idea of pricing, and we left her feeling like she was in good hands. They were very patient and compassionate and Gwynnie pulled through surgery. I'm so glad this vet clinic was there!"

"If there were more stars to give I would give them all to Dr. Farmer and her staff! I was having a dog emergency and ended up in the doggy door of Kansas City Animal Emergency. They were quick to check us in and determine my dog’s stability. Everyone was incredibly positive, helpful, professional and empathetic. The prices for the emergency services and prescribed medications were more than reasonable! Also, Dr. Farmer’s dog-side manner is A++. I don’t want to have any more dog emergencies, but should the occasion arise, I know that I can count on the staff at Kansas City Animal Emergency."
