"I went to visit my sister several times and this is one of the best care facilities I've ever seen. Loving caring staff that I encounter and saw with the residents was wonderful. I'm planning to visit Monday the 10th for my sisters for her 79th birthday."

"Brought my Elderly sister there for her rehabilitation on knee surgery. I was immediately impressed with the cleanliness and fragrance of the place. From what I understand LaVerna has been purchased by a new firm and the changes being made are up to date. The director of nursing has her staff lovingly attending to the needs of each and every resident. I have learned this from my many visits to my sister. I thank God we found a good place like this."

"HORRIBLE place! My fiancé’s mom was here for a few months and we finally moved her. She was often left in her bed which resulted in bed sores. We walked in to find her laying in her own feces. She has gotten multiple utis yet they kept her water and other beverages across the room where she couldn’t reach them to get a drink. The room was often filthy and her daughter would clean it. Food was brought in and left throughout the day. The food served wasn’t always what the menu stated. Nurses and aides were often difficult to locate. The turn around with help was high. No one ever seemed to know what was going on. Her family had to threaten to report them to get something done. There is no actual care at this facility. If you love your loved one please do not send them here. Our loved ones deserve much better. They deserve to be at a place where people seem to genuinely care about them and their needs."

"There are 2 RNs , 1 CNA (male) that are any good. The others come from agencies, and are there only for a pay check. I cleaned my mom's room myself! 3 utis left in her own waste for who knows how long. Glad she's out of there!! Don't send your loved ones there. I hope the new DON makes changes. The administration is NEVER there, it's true!!"

Katie Johnson, is an Administrator who truly cares about our residents and staff and works well beyond her scope of “duty” to ensure that the needs of our staff and residents are met. The Management Team and staff works well as a unit and is very organized as well, which our latest, amazing survey proves. And this was all proven to me when a family member needed our services recently, and I saw first-hand how she was treated.
