"We're in KC for vacation and it's so hot, I look for a kid-fun aquatic center. We hit pay dirt with Gardner's pool! It was FANTASTIC! $24 for 2 adults/2 kids, we could have stayed all day. It was a little hard finding at least one lounger out of the sun but we did. It seemed crowded but it wasn't, there was plenty of room between people. Changing rooms, lockers (bring your lock), a basic concession stand. We brought a cooler bag of lunch but we could have wheeled in our cooler box. The slides in the kids areas had a pad at the bottom of the pool to soften the land on your feet. We actually planned to come back on our last full day but the weather was funky. What impressed me most were the staff. There were lifeguards EVERYWHERE, including in the water. And they were watching...everything. They also assisted in and out of the lazy river. Very attentive, constantly moving. Bravo to the management for running a tight ship here. We are very impressed that this is part of the county Parks & Recs. Wishing very much that we had this at home. Our sweet, little HOA pool is going to seem quite tame now."

"Who knew that Gardner has this amazing Waterpark? I didn't until yesterday! Lots of fun stuff going on! Great little kid area. Deep water area with diving boards. Water slides. Lazy river. Admission price is reasonable. Wonderful staff"

"We attended on a hot Saturday and it was quite busy. However we had a great time! Lots of things to do and enjoy. Price for admission is reasonable. Friendly staff. Will go again"

"Life guards are the best I’ve seen at any pool, they are attentive at all times. Lots of pool areas, diving board, slides, lazy river, big play area/pool of little kids, lots of chairs. Snack bar. Music. Also a small park with picnic area and playground, some shade, outside of pool. Downside is the pool doesn’t open until 1pm, always a long line out on the hot sidewalk without any shade. Restrooms are really old and smell disgusting Admission went up, from $6 to $8 this year, so be prepared. Still a good deal. Overall I would recommend. Just bring nose plugs. For the restrooms."
