"Mike and Dave are just awesome! Been going there for years. Would highly recommend checking it out."
"SUMMARY: Reason for 5 Star Review ***NO Over-Grading Coins*** - NO "Pushy" Hard-Sell Tactics - Safe for Beginners & Great for Kids (Honest Owner) - Expert U.S. Coin Knowledge - Fair Prices (Lower than ALL nearby Coin Shops) - A Truly Comprehensive Inventory of Coins & Stamps Here is a more detailed review... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ --> I have been a satisfied customer of Coins, Jewelry, & Stamps (CJST) for over 18 years. Mike and David are truly GOOD people. They are the most honest and decent coin dealers I have ever met. Mike is a goldmine of numismatic (coin collecting) knowledge, and will help you find what you need or let you know where to look. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ --> I've been to dozens of coin shops & shows over the years. From Michigan to Missouri to Florida I still haven't found a more knowledgeable and honest coin dealer, and friend. Mike's mentorship ignited a love of coin collecting within me which I cherish to this day. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ --> CJST lacks a big display of $$$ "flashy" Slabs, but makes up for that with a phenomenal selection of just about everything else. Collectable coins are the focus here, not just bullion. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ --> Mike's collection is vast, and spread out. You can find the most interesting and unique things if you take some time. But if you have a specific coin set, and are searching for a particular date/mint, let Mike or Dave know. If they don't have it, write out exactly what it is and they will keep a lookout for you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ --> This shop is perfect for kids and new collectors. You can sit with your child and search through boxes low grade buffalo nickels or wheat pennies, hunting for different dates. It is a truely special thing - completely unplugged. --> I first visited when I was 10 years old, and Mike played a huge part in building my love for coin collecting. I'm 33 years old now, and I still visit CJST every chance I get! - Elliot"
"This shop was amazing! The owner was very friendly. They had a large selection of coins for many different budgets. They also have plenty of storage and collection display options. I picked up a handful of mercury dimes, a barber dime, and a couple three cent pieces today and couldn't be happier with them! There was also a cute cat in the store if that would sway your decision to come. I'll definitely be back."
"Mike was very helpful and so friendly. I got the gifts I needed for Christmas song with some great stories about his four legged "staff". I will most likely go back just for good stories, and always a great source for the coin collectors on your gift list! *****They don't take plastic, so bring cash or your checkbook! :)"
"Surprised about the negative review that I saw below. The guys that run this are retired and this is their hobby, so I wouldn't expect hard sales when you visit. It's a very relaxed environment. I chatted with Dave who was extremely helpful and gave me a the few pennies from the 1980's that I was looking (for a personal project) for free because ... well, they're pennies. The older gentleman (Michael) who is the owner is hard of hearing (the guys there joked about it), which someone mentioned in a review below, but I'm not sure that would be a reason to give a poor review. These guys are basically there to help people find rare coins for collections or as gifts to loved ones, and keep people from being scammed in their search. If they don't have what you're looking for, they can help you acquire it - Which I find to be extremely helpful unless you happen to be an expert on evaluating coin worth (which I am not). They really saved me quite a bit of time (and money) in my search, so very pleased with the visit. I plan on visiting this location again soon!"
