The Basic Course is a prerequisite for entry into the Advanced Course, but students who haven't fully met these requirements can attend Basic Camp at Fort Knox, KY. The Advanced Course requires a contractual obligation to become an Army Officer and includes an assessment at Advanced Camp during the summer between junior and senior year.
Upon completion of the ROTC curriculum, students will be appointed as commissioned officers in the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserve, or Army National Guard. They can choose from 16 different Army branches to serve under, with opportunities for additional specialized training and postgraduate education.
