"Perhaps Dr. Martin is good for routine checkups. But she has proven incompetent as a surgeon. An incompetent surgeon who is unwillingly to admit the boundaries of their knowledge is a dangerous surgeon. I would hope Doctor Martin would continue to educate herself with up to date practices and new study results. But until Dr. Martin does, I would warn others that not only is surgery through her a health risk it is a financial risk as well. Save your money and your health. Go see a different doctor."

"Martin delivered my first baby after I transferred into her care at 28 weeks. I had a very stressful birth and iugr the last 8 weeks of my pregnancy, but never had to worry much due to Martin's way of handling the situation! She even snapped at the nurses to give my baby back when they took him before my skin to skin. I am now seeing her for my second pregnancy and love knowing I will have a wonderful doctor guiding me through this journey again."

"I switched to Dr. Martin half way through my high risk pregnancy. I love her straight forward no bs attitude! She does not sugar coat anything and will give direct answers. I developed a pretty unknown and rare disorder late in pregnancy called Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy, most doctors are not educated or informed on ICP as it is pretty rare and will usually misdiagnosis as PUPS. Dr. Martin knew what it was and immediately made a plan with me to make sure we were able to deliver a healthy baby. She was very attentive and also was able to keep me calm during a very stressful time. I know that my son is not another statistic of ICP because of the prompt care I received from Dr. Martin. I recommend her to everyone."

"I've been with Dr. Martin for almost a decade. Just returned home with my second baby that she delivered. Through out my nine months she listened too all my questions and helped me come up with a great birth plan for a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend her as a professional Obgyn and surgeon-she is extremely intelligent along with a take charge type of dr that you want on your team."

"We'd made an appointment here for my wife's first maternity check-up based on the recommendation of a friend. However, we've ended up never even getting to that appointment. We had scheduled it roughly a month and a half in advance, but it ended up being canceled about 30 minutes before we were supposed to arrive. Things happen, emergencies come up.... we understand. They rescheduled for the end of that week - and then canceled THAT appointment as we were pulling into the parking lot that day. Only after being asked did the scheduler propose to reschedule for another week and a half away. Oh, so now we can wait yet another week (she's already 9 weeks pregnant at this point...) and take yet another half-day at both of our jobs, after you've canceled on us twice, and not really made any attempt to be convenient for us? Thanks, but no thanks. In addition, my wife had a fever the week prior to the first appointment-that-never-was, and called the office to ask a question. It was apparently referred to someone who never bothered to call back. Emergencies happen, and that's entirely understandable. However, this doctor and/or this office have set a president for being both unreliable and disrespectful of our time, which are not exactly ideal qualities in someone you're looking to have deliver your baby. I hope our experience was simply a series of unfortunate coincidences, and that everyone else has better luck than we did. I guess whether or not you'd like to bet on that is up to you."
