"So I took a coupon for my son’s dress shirt. I was already picking up mine. I used a coupon when I took my shirts, and I took another one for my son's order since he forgot. Anyhow, the coupon I took for his ONE SHIRT was for laundered shirts, NOT dry cleaning. So they wouldn’t honor the coupon. Both coupons were for shirts cleaned for 2.50 each, no limit. The guy before me forgot a coupon, and the other lady whipped out a photocopy of the coupons sheet and cut one out for him. This year alone I have spent probably 500 bucks with them. Never again. To the lady with the short gray hair: smile a little. Life will get better."

"I really wanted to like this place, because the location is so convenient for me and the staff really were nice people. But unfortunately I’m paying for the service and it was a failure. I took a $100+ dress there as the dress was dry clean only. I have never had to use a dry cleaner before but I chose American Cleaners. When I dropped off the dress, which was fully sequined, I specifically asked if there were any concerns about putting the dress through their cleaning process. They informed me there was a chance a stain on the dress might not fully come out. I was okay with this- the stain was on the inside of the dress and not super noticeable. I was however not informed there was a risk of the dress being totally ruined by the process. When I went to pick it up, it looked like a cat took its claws to the dress. Sequins and threads ripped up everywhere. The worker agreed it was totally ruined , apologized and sent to customer service. After it sat in customer service for an extended period, I called for an update and I guess it was never sent or not ready yet but it took a couple more weeks to get a call back saying it was ready. When I asked on the phone what the result was, they seems confused and I had to explain again the damage to the dress (which is very visible) and then they apologized again saying it seems it was not looked at. Finally I got the call saying it was ready and the result was me being told there was nothing that could be done. They did not even refund the fee I paid for the service. So in essence I paid American Cleaners to totally ruin a $100+ dollar dress. Very disappointing and I wanted them to be my go-to, but I clearly won’t be going back unless someone actually compensates me for the damage and trouble I went through. It’s been an exhausting ordeal."

"I went to drop off a couple things, granted I arrived a few minutes before the store was scheduled to close. When I walked in the woman working told me they had closed for the evening would not be accepting any additional drop offs. As I was leaving, I watched a man walk in and drop off his dry cleaning. It was incredibly rude to decline to assist one person yet accommodate someone else afterwards. I will not be using this business again."

"For the past couple times I've gone to this American Cleaners there have has been an older lady with blondish, grey hair with a harsh heavy voice that's been there either taking in clothes are getting orders that has complained terribly and made all the customers there feel uncomfortable. This past Saturday I went in to pick up clothes and again she was there complaining, the card machine didn't work, and customers were standing around waiting on her because while she complains she takes her time servicing the customers. Someone else needs to be left there after a certain time to help the customers because if not I may go to another area cleaners as I'm sure other customers probably already have."
