"I do not recommend this company! During the process of purchasing our home in July 2022 an unexpected rain resulted in water in our basement. The homeowner at the time (previous owner now) was advised to use M&K Total Home Concepts to repair what was damaged. Upon receiving keys to the home we noticed things that were not done (per the agreement they had) and things that were so poorly done that it was upsetting a business would allow it to stay that way. Such as: corner beads not being put onto walls, incomplete drywall, a floor board busted by a nail busting through it but used anyways, floor so unlevel the boards sound like they are crunching because they failed to put underlamit or level the floor in the first place, chair rail missing a chunk out of it from incomplete cuts, a pipe needing the carpet pulled off and that the floor doesn’t touch the wall in MULTIPLE areas.. I called Mike(owner of the company), he assured me the work would be taken care of. A few weeks later Kyle came out to do what we thought was the work. In reality Kyle only took back their tools and items that were left behind and said he would be back. We have done nothing but chase these people down to finish the work and it is clear they took the previous homeowners 20K and walked with it knowing good and well the work was terrible/ incomplete. Last communication on October 15th 2022 Mike stated the closet doors are on order and that’ll take 8 weeks, they are full of excuses and seem like there is no desire to come and finish/ correct the terrible work that they did. Now we are on January 19th 2023 with still no response from Mike Barger. I do not recommend M&K Total Home Concepts to do any work for you. They will take your money and not finish the job. It’s clear they liked this insurance job so they could take the money and get away with this."

"Two weeks later. Two calls later, still Mike won’t contact us. I have a warning to anybody even considering using him. He uses sub contractors. Sub contractors are NOT covered by his liability insurance. My 80 year old mother used Mike to install her roof. He promised her he would be the general contractor. He showed in the morning for a few minutes and didn’t return till the end of the day. We had problems with a black tar leaking off the roof and the new gutters which he installed running over like a waterfall within 6 months of the work. We began calling he would take forever to get back to us, promising he would fix it and never show. The problem has progressed through these past two years. We have had several engineer reports that identify the problem as improper install and poor workmanship. We have seen Mike twice with very little done. My mother now has leaks in 4 rooms of the house and Mike won’t respond at all. He will not provide the warranty nor his insurance that was active at this time. It’s over 2 years of tears for my mother and believe me we aren’t through fighting, but no I do not recommend M&K. Maybe, social media will light a fire under him."

"Mike and his crew were exceptional! Mike helped every step of the way with my insurance claim and his crew was great. Double tear off and replacement in the heat. They were fast and everything was picked up and clean up when they were done. Definitely recommend!"

"Mike was recommended to me by my realtor as I prepared to sell my house as a newly widow. As repairs were needed, Mike came out and assessed the repairs needed and gave me fair bids. I ended up needing a new roof due to storm damage. Mike worked with the insurance company and I had a new roof put on within 10 days. Other repairs were done very timely. Mike is very professional and easy to work with. Totally recommend this company!"

"My wife and I just bought our first house in July and just had a leak in our roof. Mike came out right away to not only take a look, but he fixed it same day in no time. Very professional as well as knowledgeable and friendly service. Mike took pictures so he could explain everything he wanted to do and then took pictures to show the work had been done and the quality of work performed was spectacular. We are keeping their information and already saving to have M&K put on a whole new roof as soon as we can. Best experience I could have imagined."
