"Great place to take the kids on hot days. Prices are reasonable. There's a lot to do there like the little toddler swim area. It even has a bubble area, like hot tub jets, a spraying turtle, a little water splash basinfor toys & a tiny water slide. The main area has 2 water slides which are nice. (when they are open). There's 2 diving boards (also nice when they are opened to use) in the deep area & a little kids splash area. These are fun if you like getting sprayed & they look like big colorful pipes coming out of the ground. I love how the main entrance into the pool water has a gradual slope so you can just walk into it. They have a lot of seating for when you're not in the water too. My only complaint: why do they not let your littles wear floaties? They say it's so you can have more 1 on 1 with your kids but if you've got several kids, you can't hold each child all the time. I was trying to teach my 4 yr old to swim while the other 2 swam or walked around me. Having a toddler clinging to you constantly is a bit of a challenge while trying to enjoy your time in the pool. The floaties give my toddler the extra safety & comfort he needs while learning to swim. I can let go while he kicks & dog paddles to get back to me, in the short distance while he's learning."
"I have never been to a pool where they won’t allow children to use life jackets. The ladies at the front said they have had too many people drop their young kids off, so they no longer allow kids to wear puddle jumpers or life jackets. There’s also no height requirements for the slides. It’s deep at the bottom and you also aren’t allowed to catch your kid off the slide. Someone is going to end up drowning at this pool. Most unsafe pool I’ve ever been to. We won’t be back."
"Well there was no snack bar they closed early and put in vending machines that don't work right. Kids get hungry especially swimming and in the sun. The one machine just sent the quarters right back out and wouldn't accept bills. The other one kept the quarters until you messed with it enough it would eventually spit some back out. It did take bills and the drink machine worked ok. The staff would not give us bills for our quarters so they could get a snack out of the 1 machine that only accepted bills."
"Pros: -Great place for the summer to keep cool in the Leavenworth/ Lansing area -Shallow area for smaller kids with fountains -Two large slides -Their lifeguards are wonderful, very attentive, they do not hesitate to stop behavior that is unsafe or wild, and I have seen them jump in on multiple occasions to assist children. Cons: -No concession stand anymore -Small children are not allowed to use puddle jumpers or life vests which is a big deal because the deep end begins very quickly at the sloped entrances. -In their rules they state teenagers and children must be accompanied by an adult but they don’t seem to follow this rule consistently. *UPDATE* I rented the pool for my son for his birthday, it was a little over $225 after taxes and fees and it was worth every penny. Lifeguards at each area, the pool had been cleaned prior to party. The rental includes admission for 100 people and your party has the entire pool to utilize. It is an hour and a half time which is a bit short but so totally worth it."
"It's been a fun year. We need these passes more often. I can never afford to go every other day like we have been this year. The one behind me is my youngest the other boys are his best friends. And my other littles I love watching while we're at the pool!!"
