Reviews of Dutch flowers
"If you are looking for something unique for your garden, you will find it here, there are wonderful and unique things, you can also find more than one thing that will catch your attention, come and see, I am sure you will not be disappointed."
"I've read about others experiences below, so I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt something off when entering this store. I'm with Big Brother's Big Sisters KC, so my Little & I stopped in to inquire about the "Free Flowers" on Tuesdays (I was referred by a friend who told me they have them that day, but it's actually on Monday). We were also dressed down because we were attending yoga afterward. We walked around to browse for a while. After getting inside where the cashiers/workers were, we were not greeted upon entry just looked at weirdly. Also to mention, we were followed & watched closely. When we went to the front to ask about the free flowers on a Tuesday we were told they had some on Monday but were all gone. If in fact they do give away free flowers on Monday, as common courtesy/customer service, she could have notified me of that & told me to come back next week! She proceeded to mention, they had some flowers for $1 as if I wanted a deal so bad that I would purchase anything out of that disgusting establishment. Her attitude & demeanor was very disrespectful as if I did something to her/as if she was scared or on defense mode (Lady with long brown hair. The other lady there was the one following us). After that short, yet ignorant encounter, she left from behind the counter & went somewhere??? The other lady who kept following us came up to the front where my Little was looking at bracelets & was still watching us closely. I was completely wrong with my days, however I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE because of the service. I went into another store first & felt the same way. I'm not sure if it's a City Market thing or what. But, it was my first time stepping foot over there & I won't attempt to venture anywhere else in that proximity. I left there feeling really let down & confused because had I dressed up any differently would I have gotten a simple greeting? They don't even know me or my credentials!!! They get -0 stars from me. Completely distasteful."
"This place is your garden store, but toss in a chaotic amount of little bits of everything else. From top to bottom there is something to see, and I love it. So many random, yet wonderful things. Many yard art, planters, and house decorative trinkets in the front area. Then you walk through the back doors, and you can find all kinds of other things... Puzzles, mugs, stickers, socks, bags, stones, books, candles, magnetics, and all kinds of ends and outs. It's really just fun to walk though, even if you don't go for something specific."
"Amazing experience! Called with a last minute request for anniversary roses. Not only was this team able to get my Oder put together and delivered to the restaurant, my wife was blown away by the beautiful arrangement. We literally had over a dozen people stop to compliment the flowers throughout our dinner!"
"I loved the experience of the river market and the amazing events that it brings but I found this shop and others here to be quite overpriced. It is a great place though so I don’t discount the fact that these people are hard-working small business owners and I hope to be back soon and to go here again! Thanks!"
