"My experience with Raines Puritian was not positive. A trust, which had been set up for my son, invested a small amount of money with Raines Puritian. Our intention was to see how Raines invested the funds and based on their performance, we would consider investing additional funds for them to manage. They invested the entire amount in one foreign stock. The stock was a Chinese company call MCox Lane (MCOX). This investment was done in 2013 and stock is currently worth less than 10% of the original investment. It was an extremely risky stock that should never have been bought in the first place. It was like throwing the dice on a roulette wheel hoping to land on red. Actually, that may have resulted in been better odds for success.I would caution any would be client of Rains Purinton to make sure they understand the risk that is being taken with their funds."
