"Called to cancel in my first 30 days. Guy on the other end of the phone was very unprofessional and started getting loud with me. Refused to cancel. I advised if I was charged again I'd report it as fraudulent to my bank. Claimed he wasn't refusing but kept trying to draw me into an argument/debate. After a while of that finally canceled and hung up on me. I feel like I made the right choice. DO NOT USE CARSHIELD."
"So, i fill out a questionnaire online and immediately 3 different reps call me. Pretty dang annoying. I finally decide to answer and they tell me I qualify for the gold package which is $150/mth. I show resistance and say "I'll call back". It is only then that I'm made aware of a further discount for "first time callers". I proceed to ask why the cheaper price wasnt given to me up front, to which the guy says "we are always searching for great discounts for our clients". No, you clearly are not. Your PRIMARY concern is juicing your clientele. I decided not to let him wiggle out of that excuse, so I ask again and he starts to get uncomfortable and repeats himself. Worse than dealing with spectrum. St Louis needs better corporations. Customer service here is equal to a used car dealership."
"STAY AWAY!!! I have a policy through these people and they are not honoring it. They claim that the coverage covers the engine and the drivetrain. I had an injector go out and now they wont cover it because they claim its not part of the engine. If that's the case how does it get fuel? In any case I am out almost $900 and these clowns wont cover the repairs or refund the money I have spent with them. Tell everyone you know no matter where you are in this country to stay away from these scum. They are a classic example of bait and switch. Like other people have already stated they find every loophole they can to keep from paying anything. Well hopefully the next one they find will be the one they hang from. EVIL EVIL PEOPLE"
"I complied with the contract policy to cancel within 30 days and they are refusing to refund my money. It clearly states in the contract that “If canceled within the initial term of the contract, which is one month from the original contract, effective date, and if no claim has been made, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid for the initial term”. I canceled within a month, I did not file any claim, and they are refusing to refund my money. They also billed me for the following month after cancellation. Their compliance with their contract is nonexistent. This is fraud. As an FYI, the reason I signed up originally is because I was assured I would receive my money back if I did not like the contract details. They would not share any contractual details with me in writing until I signed up. Once I read their contract, I realized, the language in there would pretty much allow them to never pay a customer for a claim. That’s why I decided to cancel my contract before it was ever implemented. If they can’t even keep their word on a simple refund of two charges of $89.99, they certainly are not going to keep their word on a substantial claim. I have never seen such a complete disregard for a policy that is clearly written in a contract in black-and-white. Do yourself a favor and don’t do business with this scam of a company. This has been reported to the BBB."
