The Washboard Laundromat

"I have been coming here for about a year. Every time I come here almost all of the machines are being used by 1-2 people. There is one machine of a decent size (there are two but one has been broken the whole time)- costs about 5.50 to wash, it is always being used. I had a load that would fit in the larger machine but due to the aforementioned: all but twomachines being used by 1 person, I had to use the two machines costing more money in total. For those out there, costs 1 quarter to get 8min out of a dryer, on average it might cost about 4.50 to wash clothes. Per load it might be est. $5 or so. If you did two loads of laundry every other week it would cost you $260 per year to come here and that is excluding driving costs (I live about 1 gallon of gas away) Do the math, consider doing laundry in your bathtub. This place is not worth the time or headache of just getting a machine here. Save your dollars and buy a cheap machine on Craigslist, it only needs to last 1 year for it to save you money. Thank God above I just bought a new washer and dryer and after delivery, this is the last time I'll ever be coming to this place."
