"I hate posting negative reviews, I really do. And especially because Jake is a very lovely person. But as a CPA, it has been an absolute disaster. We were newly self employed and relied heavily upon Jake for his advice and guidance. The first year, he said he filed an extension for us. Come to find out, he never did file that extension and we got hammered with late fees and interest. IN ADDITION, he forgot to include the interest we paid on our home. So we had to refile that year again. Not to mention the fact that he never told us we had to pay multiple other fees which the IRS then came after us for. He cost us THOUSANDS of dollars. In addition, we started paying Wisdom CPA's to manage our books and payroll (for 1 person.) He never reconciled our books properly. We switched to a new CPA and she has found COUNTLESS errors and has spent HOURS going back and properly reconciling things. I hope that we are the exception, not the rule for Jake and his firm. But I caution anyone going with this firm - if you don't know the ins and outs of booking and taxes, do not trust them to do this for you."
