Blue Water Pools is a family-owned and operated swimming pool and hot tub company located at 2515 North Rangeline Road in Joplin, Missouri. Since 1976, we have been serving the Joplin area with our expertise in installing and servicing chemical sanitization systems for commercial, residential, and municipal in-ground pools and hot tubs.
Our well-trained in-ground service department offers water testing, water treatment, repairs, pool openings, and winterization services. We also provide new equipment installations, repairs, and onsite training for both new pool/hot tub owners and commercial businesses.

"They closed the pool last fall on the house we just bought so we had to use them to open it. Two young guys came for the opening. While one guy (Mike) was super helpful the other was super impatient. There were several leaks in and the filter that they couldn’t take care of. I found out after they left that it was just a matter of tightening a few screws. They never put the stairs in so they had to come back. Of course it was Mr. Impatient that came back, with a trainee in tow. He had a super hard time figuring out the install. He brought screws that almost immediately rusted when he put the stairs in. He ended up using and subsequently breaking 3 of my drill bits. Part of which ended up in the pool and made a small tear in my liner. He then wanted to put the stairs in with just one screw. After playing with it for a while and making it very evident that he didn’t want to be there, he eventually put the stairs in incorrectly. He set the bars in the wrong spot and left the stairs off the floor of the pool. That is where they currently sit. But because of his impatience I really just wanted him to go. When you pay money for someone to open your pool you expect them to do it right. They did not. The company eventually sent me a bill a couple of days ago. No deductions for the drill bits. Next time I will call someone else or better yet, do it myself."
"I originally purchased a new motherboard for our hot tub which was over $1200. We paid in full the parts and labor bill. The original motherboard went bad in less than one year. So....they replaced it with a second motherboard under warranty. The second one was not built correctly and nearly caught fire. The smell of burning wires coming from my hot tub was alarming. Now I'm on my third motherboard, and I get a bill in the mail for labor fees. I had spoken with Jake when I received the bill the first time. Over the phone, Jake said they would take care of the bill. He didn't say only a part of the bill. He said he would take care of it. Which I assumed that meant all of the bill. I have lost MONTHS of usage in my hot tub due to bad parts, and now I'm being billed over $230 for labor/travel fees. I shouldn't be responsible for three bad parts, labor, fees, etc....nothing. I paid in full the first time. Now I'm being billed for costs incurred from a part that keeps going bad. This is a unethical and unfair. They have lost a customer over $230 dollars. I will make sure to tell family and friends about our terrible experience with this company!! Lost customer for life!"
