"***WARNING This is a scam!*** They get your items then overcharge and money you to death. I'm still getting charged after I canceled this service. When I reach out to customer service they disconnect. After I canceled, it took them weeks to pick up the POD. Now their trying to charge me an additional delivery and pickup fee. DO NOT use them. They are unprofessional and scam you for as much money as possible. ***UPDATE*** I reached out to the email address they provided below and no one responded. I actually received a call and an email the other day telling me I owe them more money. The audacity is real. Please avoid using this company at all cost. Nothing they provided me was worth the money they took from me."
"I scheduled a pod for 2/5. I made this appointment in the first week of January. I got a text the night before saying my pod would be delivered between 12-3pm the next day. The next day, I got a text at 1040 saying my pod was rescheduled for the following day. No one called me. I thought it was a mistake. I called and they said “oh yes sorry, there’s nothing we can do”. I was off work, I am moving out of my house, I needed to get my things moved. The situation got escalated to the supervisor of customer service. He told me I should have taken off work, that they recommend taking the next day off just in case the pod doesn’t show up. Ok, so I should just plan on you being unreliable? He said he had done all that he could, they could get me a pod the next day and that’s it, if I wanted to go somewhere else I could. So I did. It was unbelievable. I won’t ever use them. I found a local person and I wish I would have gone with them from the beginning, it was a huge waste. Pods made no effort to fix the situation except to over me $77 off, when I wanted the delivery fee waived bc I had missed a days work for nothing. He said no and said there was no one else I could talk to. I hung up frustrated. It ruined my whole move. I will say I never was in touch with the local pods owner, I’m sure it was out of their control, It sucked that it was cancelled 2 hours before I thought it was coming, what was far worse was how the customer service supervisor spoke to me and basically said he didn’t care that he couldn’t do anything."
"PODS canceled/rescheduled my delivery on the morning it was scheduled. It created a terrible situation where I had to cancel my order and rush around to find a moving truck, movers and a storage locker. NIGHTMARE"
"Great concept and very convenient. Most frustrating aspect is they showed up at the very end or later than the promised pick up / delivery time window. Website, text alerts, phone support are not successfully integrated and provide contradictory information about your move."
