"MTC Truck Driver School!! I want to thank everyone who I was able to meet here in St Louis, MO, I received so much advice and inspiration from each instructor and student! This was a wonderful experience for the beginning of my new career as a professional truck driver! I am now a Class A CDL holder. 1/11 First, Meagan she was my recruiter all the way through and I appreciate her for keeping in contact and pushing me to chose myself and dedicate my time to becoming a professional truck driver! Next, Joe, Debbie and Nick thank you all for answering my many questions and providing transportation! I’m so glad I was able to see everyone before leaving to return to VA! Ms. Roni you really taught me a lot in class, you are very inspiring to future woman in trucking, thank you for all of your knowledge, advice and pointers. The greatest advice you gave me was to first get those Enuggets completed, show up everyday, ask questions find out what I need to do to get done on time, study chapter 11 and keep my grades in the green!! Jerry thank you for all the yard lessons and instructions, I learned pre-trip fully in one week and I learned and mastered the yard maneuvers in two days, I heard your voice saying AWAY & TOWARDS so much heard it in my sleep, but I definitely stopped eating cones! Oh and I completed my state yard maneuver in 12 min 51 secs! Dusty I’ll still drive like a girl and of course GIRL POWER!! I will not cowboy while I’m out on the road! Mr. Kirk, Mr. Ed & Mr. Bob thank you both for the road lessons and I’m glad you never had to take me to the tall grass or hold you hand out of the window! Thank you for pushing me and critiquing me to become better! Mr. Kirk I didn’t get to see you before I left but you really left an impression on me! I met so many people on the yard and we all helped and learned from each other! I came in with one goal and I accomplished just that. Thank you all for everything. This was a great experience! I want to highlight Roni for providing the foundation and expectations as I went on my Journey throughout the course and a even Major Highlight to JERRY for teaching me that DAMN Pretrip which I passed with 100% (at state)(aka I HOLD THE TITLE "THE QUEEN OF PRETRIP" And am Very Happy to say that).
