"If your Construction crew is going to block a road They should really have signs and flaggers. Or unload your plow machine Somewhere else."
"I am adding to this review after yet another dead end call and the run around about my service tech that's supposed to have showed up the last three times it was scheduled so im on day 2 of taking off work for nothing after paying 345 dollars now i have missed 16 hours of work because i had to be available between certain hours for the tech to be here! Total after 2 days of work missed and 345 dollars out of pocket approximately $615.00.... I highly recommend those with Windstream to contact the FCC (Federal Communication commision) with your complaints about this internet provider nothing will change until they are reported on by enough people. Original review: 0.00 stars if that was an option on here After paying 271 dollars then the next day and gave an additional 80 in total about 345 dollars all said and done while spending HOURS AND literally DAYS AND DAYS ON THE PHONE being transferred to literally every department MULTIPLE TIMES Even spoke with management multiple times. I also missed work hours on not one but now two days of work due to having to be home for the installation tech, we received the confirmation email but never received a call the day of installation I WAS HOME ALL DAY I TOOK OFF WORK HOURS TO BE HOOOME . Installation was placed on hold for another 3 days befor a tech can come out because the technician never reached out to me the morning of installation I TOOK OFF WORK HOURS on two separate days after paying 345 dollars literally days from Christmas So by Monday it will be 8 days still no internet 2 days of missed work and still absolutely 0000 help from customer service they will play the transfer you around and let you sit in hold game .I spoke with the same person more than once and it's almost as if they think it's funny to waste your time and get you absolutely no where and I absolutely mean that the one lady I spoke with several times I could hear her laugh at me at one point while basically telling me to bad ....."
"No Internet connection. Before calling, did the disconnect/reconnect process and connect direct to computer-- no help. Called twice, on hold total of 1 hr, 46 minutes, two calls--NEVER helped. Tried the digital assistant twice but could not connect Internet and NO human available to help twice. Said to call--Ha!! Years of Internet in multiple states, this is the worst."
"I wish I could give it zero stars. The internet recently went down for six days, and for six days I wasn’t told anything of any value from the people at customer service, on the rare occasion that I actually was able to speak to a person in the first place."
"I pay more to get faster internet. This is a must as my wife works from home.. I found some billing issues and gave them a call. I had been overcharged by nearly $100 in 6 months. It was a little at a time, I only noticed because the bill keeps going up and I did not get my 12th month of my first year contract discounted to the rate we agreed to when I set up the account. I also had late fees on an account that has always been in autopay. I argued with an employee who said they couldn't help. Then finally got transferred to a supervisor, after waiting almost an hour I had to argue for another hour and only got partially credited for the next bill. I ended up settling for a $40 reduction.. since then I have "lost the ip address," at my house 4 times. It is nothing I can control or fix, I was told they are working nearby and any power fluctuations can cause this issue. To sum it up, this company seems shading when it comes to billing, the 'fees and surcharges' continue to fluctuate by $10 to $20 and now I no longer have dependable internet, forcing my wife to work from her office again. I only have this company for fiber optics/cable internet. I fear I will soon be forced to get internet via satellite.."
