"These ladies are great. Enjoy our conversations."
"Applefest was great this past year. More people people and more vendors from prvious years led to many challenges, but the all volunteer team that leads this event did a great job. I'm sure you all learned a lot and next yeat will just keep getting better. Don't pay attention to those who complain loudly. Listen to the thousands of still small voices wbo loved it. Thanks for all your hard work."
"The AppleFest was by far the worst festival I have ever been to. I try to support as many area festivals as possible. And, I was terribly disappointed with this one. It was very disorganized. I am not sure if Weston is not used to crowds, but they obviously did not plan for such a large crowd. Based on the crowds I was expecting an amazing experience, but what I experienced was anything but amazing. All vendors were squished into a two block space. So, there was no room to move or stop to see anything. The food area was also extremely crowded and lines were obviously never considered as no space was considered for them. They had shuttles running, but the area for pick-up from the festival was confusing. We waited patiently for three bus loads and finally made it to the front of the line, but the bus stopped in the wrong place. People who had just arrived began jumping on the bus. My group along with around twenty others who had been waiting for 20+minutes told them we had been waiting. They continued to load, ignoring us, so my husband attempted to get on the bus to tell the bus driver where the line began. He was grabbed by the collar and yelled at by someone who acted like they worked for the AppleFest (although he never identified himself). We were finally able to get on the shuttle when the man who has obviously never worked with other humans decided he should listen to patrons at a festival (which often serves humans) and realized he was in the wrong and that a sign clearly indicated where the line began. I am astounded that people waste an hour finding parking in order to be treated so rudely by people at a mediocre (at best) festival. If this is how the AppleFest now treats their patrons they will not have many more years. I know I will never be returning."
