"I dropped a load here. They sent me a docks that seemed it might be designed for 28 ft or 48 ft trailers and I didn’t see trucks other than straight trucks there and parked trailers across the docks, but it might be workable by using the daycab or smaller switcher trucks. I asked the switcher if he saw a 53ft trailer with sleeper truck docking trailer in here before. It seemed to me there is no enough room for me to back up there. He said: do you know what show me where you at right now. And then he said: drop it off right there and I will but the trailer on the dock by using my switcher truck. I dropped off and he picked up the trailer and I left. Then they called the company that I working with them as an independent owner operator and told them “he left the loaded trailer in inappropriate place.” I think that is something that I was expecting but for sure I am not going to pick up any load that comes to this specific warehouse because I can’t deal with the same problems."
"I am leaving this 1 Star review because of this company’s moral standards. I get working the hours they expect you to do, but when you are court ordered to do something by law this company is held liable and can be sued for NOT allowing their employees to follow the law. In my case the father of my child and I live in 2 different counties. I have to drive every 2 weeks on a Sunday to pick up my daughter, it’s 4 hours away. 8 hours total drive time. They expect you to work 12 hours 4 days a week with mandatory overtime. However the LAW clearly states that you cannot force a person to work over what they are scheduled. You cannot just terminate an employee for not working what they are not scheduled to work. 3M and both VOLT can be sued for this. Mandatory overtime is legal however you have to be scheduled for it, they can’t just call you in on your scheduled days off and expect you to work. I didn’t take the job because this company isn’t willing or able to follow court orders and is definitely not suitable for a single parent."
"I worked here in 2019 through the temp agency, and the lady that runs it is really caring and understanding about anything. You only get to work for a year here before they just release you. You can apply again but it's such a headache that they don't wanna try and do more for the temp workers that are really doing their best. I worked on the line with some of the best people too even if made some mistakes. Some of the employees really know how to be a team, but someone need to have a talk with the main management and overseer of this company that people get treated more equally"
"After getting checked in, I was sent to the east dock who sent me to the south dock who sent me back to shipping to get a hot load of return freight unloaded. I waited almost 2 hours to get half a load off only to find out the shipping department was sitting on the paperwork at the cubicle but didn't bother to bring it out and let me know they were done. Definitely not an efficient way to use up a driver's time."
"Super friendly people, unload 15 min East receiving dock little bit tight due to construction..."
