"Kramer & Frank PC is absolutely distasteful. Not only can they not manage their own business and accounts but they’ll put ALL the blame on you. For the first year, they had my account sitting in someone’s files that wasn’t even in office, they were out for prolonged leave and they weren’t managing the voicemail box of that person either. Mr Jason P, is someone who says to “handle” your case but won’t do anything. He can’t even answer the phone or return calls timely. Then at another point the account/reference number I had was wrong because they CHANGED my account number and I was not alerted with any type of mail correspondence. Then because of THEIR indiscretions I got taken to count where the first time they didn’t even show up! Oh wait, they filed for movement to another day. I showed up though, missing work. (All of this W/O even a summons or alert that I was being taken to court.) I found out by seeing my name on the docket. They didn’t even TRY to give the summons, my significant other was always home. No one ever came by. The second court date THEY were late. The judge themselves said if they don’t show up he’d file for dismissal! Not once did they uphold their agreement to send the payment arrangement information to me, took forever just to get any information I could after SO many phone calls. No account updates mailed or emailed as I requested. Then I call and call and call, wouldn’t hear back for weeks. I updated my phone number with them TWICE and they still called the old number. They are lazy, unorganized and unable to do so much as keep clients information up to date and in order. Keep records of all your calls to them, the dates, times, if you left a voicemail and then when you hear back."
"I just don’t understand why the people here are so mean and grumpy. They’re not the one being garnished and it doesn’t even matter if you talk to them nicely they still get rude anyways and they’re not very helpful they make you feel stupid if you asked them something that you may not understand and they all like to rush you off the phone. Just because you work for a debt collection company doesn’t mean that you have to be so rude to people."
"Do something about it! Complaints about lawyers should be made in writing detailing the complaint and mailed to the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel, 3327 American Avenue, Jefferson City, MO 65109. Contrary to common belief, it is the Supreme Court of Missouri – not The Missouri Bar – that is in charge of the state's lawyer discipline system. To protect the public, the Supreme Court oversees a mechanism for investigation and, where necessary, discipline of lawyers who fail to meet their professional obligations. Only the Chief Disciplinary Counsel has the authority to investigate and refer complaints that may be best resolved outside of the traditional disciplinary system to The Missouri Bar Complaint Resolution Program."
"Everytime I've called each person has an attitude and is rude! After the last call to explain the situation to the gentleman he had the nerve to huff. I guess I was bothering him. I have had to call multiple times because my debt has BEEN paid off but they have yet to notify the courts. After speaking with the courts they let me know that if a satisfaction of judgement was not filed by my court date that I would be in default. My Court date is coming up so I called today and was told that they are going to have it dismissed at the hearing. That is not what I was told by Kim when I spoke to her last week. She blamed it on another department for not submitting the satisfaction of judgement electronically. Also, Kim is extremely unpleasant to work with."
"was spoken to in a very rude disrespectful and demeaning way today and ever time. Every time I have gotten a call I have tried to make a payment.I know your job is to collect debt and make your money but there is a way to do it , and this is not the way to do it by in any means necessary. In May I made a payment over the phone, and we discussed that I wanted direct payments to be made. She said you changed the system that did not allow that at that time, and you were working on it , so I assumed that you did . I am working 3 jobs to stay afloat over the summer as a school teacher and helping my daughter who had a car accident, in June and July no phone calls was made to I did not receive a letter stating that my account number they used there was a problem with it completing my payment. I was told today through my job, and I am teacher by the way, I was told today that 25% will be taken out of my account until the 2,000-dollar balance was paid for. Kramer is known for blowing up your phone to make a payment. This person name Kim said that since she did not like my tone last time, we spoke she decided to not to call me and placed me on a garnishment. As teacher we do not get paid in the summer, I am already in debt in all my bills. One phone call to tell me what was going on I would have tried to anything to get the 60-dollar payment because I know I cannot afford a garnishment. I asked to day 8/17/22 what can I do she said pay 1,000 and then she will release the garnishment. Disrespectful , poor communication , rude, etc...."
