Reviews
"This will be a very long review and unfortunately I hate to have to write this but hopefully sharing my experience will help you save some time and perhaps some money. The situation will be briefly explained in small details for contextual understanding. My daughter Alayah started Nobles Academy Kindergarten program the day after her 5th birthday Sept. 5, 2023. The enrollment cost her dad and I around $800 or so with application fees, enrollment fees, books, $75 for branded uniform shirts, uniforms, school supplies etc. This was the first time Alayah had been in a classroom setting and she had never done daycare prior to enrolling in the program. We chose the program because it wasn't too far from our homes, the hours were from 8:30am - 3:30pm, and they claimed to offer transportation services for the kiddos then after enrolling the option for transportation wasn't available. The set up for the childcare center is in a duplex most of the kids there are related to the owner. There's a lot of favoritism too. On the surface it looks very nice and well put together but I don't agree with the business practices of the Owner and her money hungry ways. (Some reasons are unlisted) Alayah had a rough start. She is a bit impulsive and hyperactive but has not been diagnosed or evaluated for ADHD. She had outbursts and would cry a lot. She did not do so well transitioning into the daily school routine the first few weeks. So the owner suggested if she didn't adjust by the end of the first week of Oct then we should switch Alayah to doing split days and pay $200 more a month for her to do the preschool program. Invoices are sent out the month prior so we paid the month of Oct in advance. Her dad and I didn't want to pay the extra money for her to do the preschool program so the owner offered half days at the same price. Basically Monday through Friday 8:30am- 12:00pm. Alayah had not attended the first week of Oct because her dad and the owner were discussing billing and plans for the month. The second week her dad and I talked Wed so I brought her in that Thursday & Friday for half day. Fast forward to this week Monday was a holiday they were out of school. I wasn't feeling well Tuesday & Alayah wasn't feeling well Wed & Thurs so I kept her home with me. I go to drop her off today Friday and 10 mins later I get a call from the owner saying that she left a message in bright wheel ( a communications app that she has us pay extra for monthly. Alayahs dad has it but my iphone doesnt have the storage for it and she knows because we've discussed it before.) She goes on to say that Alayah can't return without a Dr excuse. She asked me to come and pick her up. There were a few things that seemed janky starting with enrollment the fees being one, transportation being two, she charged $75 for 3 uniform shirts we only got 2 and won't refund for the 3rd, she charges $25 if you're 5 mins late picking up and $1 a min thereafter. My daughter was the only child in the kindergarten program but all of the school age kids are in one classroom with the Owner and a TA. I am a mom of two in the process of a divorce my ex-husband is a truck driver and is on the road 95% of the time. So I'm solely responsible for pick-up & drop-off EVERY DAY amongst everything else for two children. I work homecare part time and can't work the morning shifts because the childcare hours don't fit. Imagine that; paying someone to keep your child so you can work but not being able to work because of the childcare arrangements. Now I'm out a few hundred dollars, and have school uniforms that my daughter will no longer be able to use, still have to figure out childcare arrangements after already paying for childcare services. Communication was poor, customer service was poor, I'd come and pick my daughter up at the end of the day and she'd be the only one singled out laying down on a cott only to have them say she's the only kindergartner. She started crying as soon as she saw me saying that the teachers were mean to her."
"If you want your child to excel, this is the place to be. Noble Academy strongly believes in early childhood development. Children start learning how to read before 2 years old. They recognize site words, sounds, pronunciation and letters. Babies learn how to communicate with parents via sign language. This school is incredible! Train up a child in the way he/she should go and they will not depart. I strongly recommend this school to every parent who loves their children and wants to see their children do great things."
"My 2 nieces attended Noble Academy/lil smarties and they were AMAZING! My nieces have blossomed tremendously and excelled well beyond their age expectations. This school literally develops geniuses and I have never seen that at any other school. The foundation, principles, staff, and curriculum of this school is what creates such an amazing learning space for young people. I look forward to enrolling my 2 year old shortly. There are no other options for our family."
"My two-year-old son loves Noble Academy and Lil’ Smarties Preschool. He loves his friends and the teachers. My son learned so much in so little time when he was here last school year. I had to bring him back and make it work. I like the learning environment. Every child knows and respect each other, the curriculum is very good, and the children really learn and grasp well. The teachers, principals and workers are all the best here. I love this facility. It’s the only place I want my child and future children to be. On a scale of 1-10; I’ll rate the staff a 10. I’ve personally known the staff (most of them) all my life. I have watched this school grow from the bottom. I know their intentions. They take care of your child and show love equally. Keep doing great things. Can’t wait to see you guys grow!"
"I love what they're doing at Garrett..... Moving my son to this school was THEE BEST move I feel I've made as a parent! His DEVELOPMENT , not only intellectually , but morally and character wise has a great deal to do with whats going on at Garrett! Being at home chilling out with my son and to hear him break out with a song about Jesus, or a quote about GOOD CHARACTER ABSOLUTELY TOUCHES MY HEART! The character development and teaching of Jesus is what separates them from other schools! Much love and appreciation!"
