"My experience with with Andy Scholz. He was a great attorney until court. Where he rushed me on signing papers and did not let me or encourage me to read the papers thoroughly. Now I'm stuck with a parenting plan for the next 2 years that I don't even partially agree to now. As far as paperwork and literacy seems to be on the level. But as far as catching on to little tricks and treating people correctly he seems to have dropped the ball. I'm sorry for this negative review I hope to have left a better one. But then the fine print got to me. So I rate them average at best."

No. No. No. run fast or, be prepared to be ignored, billed exorbitant fees, nickeled and dimed for any little thing, be charged “finance fees” for bills never received, get charged for “processing fees” on a bill PAID IN FULL weeks after the bill was paid (oops we forgot to add the 2.5% credit card fee), wait weeks for a return email (if at all), go to court and have attorney not dispute OBVIOUS lies stated on the stand by opposing counsel and witnesses. I waited three weeks for a referral for an appeal attorney which never came even though I was told time is “VERY CRITICAL” (30 days to file appeal). Several weeks later I was sent a $5,000 retainer fee contract for “disillusion of marriage” which was to be argued along with the filing of Annulment. I provided so much evidence for our case and little (of any) was admitted. Change of venue hearing there wasn’t evidence admitted for domicile even though several letters, bills, and accounts show address. Mr Scholz sited outdated RSMo. in petitioning the court. He was warned about the other counsels antics and did nothing to thwart them. Good ole boys system at its best. I was thrown under the bus, feel the case was not represented fairly or accurately. But! The attorney was paid handsomely every month, on time. I can go on and on…"

"DO NOT waste your time and hard earned money here. I was referred to an attorney here who probably does good work but he was too busy to take my case. My attorney was a nice enough guy but that doesn't excuse the business as a whole. The shady business practices of this attorney group as a whole is sickening. They will nickel and dime you to absolute death. Overpromise, underperform, and overcharge is the name of the game at Rooney McBride & Smith. I would be ashamed to have my name as the face of the business here. I highly suggest doing business elsewhere."
