"My husband was accused of a heinous crime! For three years John told us not to worry and to keep living life. Less than a week before trial we had two appointments to 'prep' for trial. It was small talk... no 'preparation'. He had not deposed witnesses, did not prepare a defense of any kind, and did not prepare us for three days of trial. In the courtroom he did not defend (yes, he objected to a couple things) but did not even attempt to get the jury to see doubt in the case. EVERYTHING we needed was in front of us.
