"I lived here for a year with my fiance. The unit was very nice for the affordable price. Maintenance and landlord were very nice and extraordinarily accommodating. Location is quiet, friendly, and residential. Overall I had a great experience and a great relationship with the landlord. We would have stayed longer but ended up moving to be closer to family."

"My partner and I lived at 308 Clara for 3 years, and we had a great experience. The best aspects of this apartment are the location and price. We were both WashU students, so it was very convenient to be only a 5 minute drive away from the campus. The building is also close to food options on Delmar, and it's within walking distance to Forest Park. The price for our unit was extremely reasonable. The building doesn't offer much in the way of amenities, but that's reflected in a lower rent compared to what some of the nearby apartments offer. Residents do have access to a gated lot with assigned spots, which was helpful if you want to avoid street parking. The building also has laundry facilities in the basement. We didn't particularly care about other amenities like a pool or gym, so we were happy to go without those things if it meant paying less in rent. I thought the landlord was fair and easy to work with. He was responsive to phone calls and timely resolved any complaints. We made a special request to include a clause in our lease that allowed us to move out early if we could find a replacement tenant, and the landlord worked with us to accommodate that request. Our move out process was painless, and we received back almost all of our security deposit. Maintenance for the building was decent. We had one incident where maintenance didn't fully clean up after themselves after making a repair in our unit, but the landlord worked with us to remedy the situation. Maintenance was otherwise helpful and was prompt in responding to our requests. I would recommend this building to any students who are looking for an affordable apartment near WashU. Our unit in 308 Clara was a comfortable place to live, and we were happy to have chosen this apartment for our 3 years in St. Louis."

"My partner and I enjoyed our time at 308 Clara and would have stayed longer had an impossible- to-pass opportunity not presented itself. It was affordable given the location, clean, and cozy. There were rarely problems, but maintenance responded quickly and efficiently. Nearly our entire deposit was returned, except for things we admittedly didn't take care of ourselves. Renovations occurred during our lease that made common areas beautiful and presentable. Parking and laundry were never issues. It was hard to leave and we would recommend 308 Clara to anyone!"

"I lived at 308 Clara for a year and had an excellent experience. The price, in my opinion, was very affordable for the location and apartment style. During my year there they were constantly making updates to make the building nicer. The landlord was often around making sure the common spaces were clean and updates were being made; he was very easy to get ahold of with questions or concerns. When I moved out I got a majority of my deposit back. This was by far the best experience renting that I have had."

"I have been a tenant here for more than 2 years and it has been a pleasant experience. The property is so close to public transport and the Forest park which for me is a huge advantage. The neighborhood is very residential so not much noise. The rent is also very reasonable if one compares it with others in the area. I haven't had any complaints with the management. My maintenance requests are taken care of timely. If there is a delay, we have the option of directly contacting the maintenance manager and it is addressed. In the cases when short notice decisions are made, it is for the security of tenants and the management makes sure everyone is aware of it and even checks it twice too. I haven't had a ton of interaction with other tenants but till now no complaints in terms of loud noise or cleanliness."
