"Read the reviews. Do not use these people. They are liars and scamers. They They promise everything but give nothing. They give you different answers depending on who you talk to. They blatantly ripped me off. Not only did I pay out more than what I owed, they decided to take more money the last 3 months. I called every month to ask about it and got 3 different answers. Also the don't tell you the money they do save you is considered income and you will have to pay tax on it. Also my 4 year program turned out to be 7 years. Just call the creditors yourself and negotiate. If you do use a third party DO NOT USE BOULDER although I think they are all the same."

"It has now been over 5 yrs since I used BLG to settle $60k in credit card debt. My experience has been stellar. The process was very transparent and anyone with a modicum of intellect must know that if you are not paying your creditors for several months in order to build your reserve so BLG can negotiate will impact your credit score. All of my creditors were negotiated and paid off. I did have only one that commenced legal action but BLG connected me to an attorney who resolved the issue. The key to my success is timely payments and keeping BLG informed. Sure my credit score dropped to 530 but as of this September 2023 my score is now 760 because the settlements have dropped off my report. Stay the course, and be responsible for completing the program you must be accountable there is no magic wand."

"They will lie to you to get your business. They will tell you, Creditors will love you for using them ( Boulder) Instead of getting a bill consolidation loan. Trust me. Get a loan to consolidate. Boulder will only give them a small percentage of what you pay Boulder! For example: I paid Boulder $316.00 a month. They paid 4 of my creditors $5 a month.Five Dollars!!! After I have paid Boulder for over 4 years I canceled their services. Now the creditors are coming after me when I thought Boulder settled my accounts. My credit is shot now!"

"I'm writing this review after a few years because I am still dealing with the negative ramifications of using Boulder Legal's program. I was a customer a few years ago. While they did help me negotiate out of some debt, they don't tell you how they will destroy your credit in the future by telling you to not make payments on your accounts so you can prove you have a hardship paying your bills. What they don't tell you is that you will accrue a bunch of late payments that will destroy your credit and will take years to be removed from your credit report. When I signed up for their program, yes i did have debt, but I had a 720 credit score. After Boulder's program I had a 330 credit score because the companies I had accounts with completely trashed my credit profile because I used Boulder and didn't make payments for so long. I have been enrolled in other debt relief programs for the past 2 years trying to remove all these late payments and charge offs only to be laughed at by the banks I had accounts with. If you are reading this, DO NOT USE BOULDER LEGAL GROUP. I continue to have problems years afterward. I also had many issues dealing with customer service reps telling me things were being done for me that never took place. I had to make endless calls to get anything done. It was extremely frustrating. It took me 4 month to get them to take a final payment to settle all my debts so that I could finish the program. Absolutely unbelievable! I just want to re-iterate...they may actually make your credit worse and for a longer period of time than if you use another program or find a way to deal with your debts on your own. Horrible experience! Don't do it! I have been hurting for years because I enrolled!"

"Current client with Boulder. This company is absolutely horrible. They screwed up all my accounts I've been sued twice when I was ready to pay off the debt they drag their feet and I ended up getting sued. They have no customer service. They are full of lies. They do nothing but make matters worse. This is not a debt consolidation company that you want to deal with. I have decided I am taking the matters into my own hands because these guys are absolutely useless. Do not give them your money they are not worth a penny."
