"My experience has not been good. I was quoted a price that I paid in installments toward a divorce. My first payment was sent on CashApp on July 28. He let it expire. I sent it again, this was a 2 week delay. He said I would be divorced in 35 days. I received paperwork and signed in the places he put tabs. Weeks later, I checked in via email. He informed me that did not complete the certificate. It looked to already be filled out, so I thought he was sending it to me for my records. After I completed the certificate with information I previously provide from the case I filed in a other county before hiring him. Another 3 weeks go by, I checked in and he informs me that I did not pay $58 for email responses. Wow! I never received that bill, nor was I ever informed I would be charged for communication he should be providing to me. I had to check in via email because he does not communicate. I learned he didn't file my case for this $58. I paid it immediately last week. Yesterday, i receive a bill for $83 for some of the same things he told me were included in the $58. So today, I paid the difference of $25. Four months after our July 24th phone consult, the case is still not filed. I have paid thr $99 consultation fee, $145 filing fee, $490 his fee $77 for a Quit Claim Deed and now $83 for questions. I do not feel this attorney cares about my case at all. Checking to see what action I can take for the hidden fees and inaction without communication. Missouri Bar or agency will receive my complaint."
