A GAL was put into place on our case because I requested it as an agreement to drop a PFA after father of our children struck our child while drunk and gave him a bloody nose. She was presented with a MULTITUDE of evidence against this man that abusively terrorized our family for 7 years and was swept away by his narcissism apparently. Quickly went from supervised visitation to giving father decent amount of time with kids... and then pretty quickly went to 50/50. Huge waste of time and money. Very disappointed... but more so, extremely worried for our small children who are 3 and 5. Her website even says that she specializes in helping Dad's with custody issues and parenting time... so scared momma's who are looking for somebody to protect your kids... I would recommend going elsewhere."
