"William Dauster is hands-down the best attorney you could ask for. My review is long but well worth the read if you are looking for a fantastic family law attorney. It is important to start with how he became my attorney. I was involved in a very bitter custody dispute for 2 years and someone had referred me to Jane Carter. At this point, I had spoken with several attorneys in Cass County and even some outside of the county, but most of them turned me away due to the high conflict nature of the case and the short amount of time since receiving a judgment from the courts. I called Jane Carter’s office and much to my dismay, I was informed that Jane Carter was retiring. Mr. Dauster answered the phone and after all the calls I had made up until this point, I expected a pretty brief phone call. He actually spoke with me for 30+ minutes and provided me with genuine input. He was eager to meet me in person to get a better idea of my situation and my expectations. It has now been almost 2 years since that first meeting and I am finally able to put this well-deserved review out there. Mr. Dauster always returned my phone calls and emails promptly. There was never a time where I felt that I was being ignored or pushed to the side, no matter how insignificant the question. His communications were always clear, thorough, and easily understood. He was excellent at communicating what he expected from me as his client and I trusted his judgement every step of the way. Mr. Dauster really took a personable approach to my case and I knew that his interests were in getting the best results for my kids. My case took a year and a half from the point of filing to receiving judgement and I never felt that he lost his momentum or interest from the first day to the last. His knowledge was impressive and what he didn't know off-hand, he never failed to find the answer. I received invoices that were descriptive and clear so I never felt like he was charging me unfairly. I was amazed at how well Mr. Dauster was able to retain and recall information and evidence over the course of a 3 day trial. Mr. Dauster spent a significant amount of time prepping me for testimony in multiple depositions and at trial. I attribute the success of my case to Mr. Dauster and I give the highest possible recommendation to anyone in search of an attorney that cares!"
