"Bob Shaw is a real jerk. After not returning my call for about 2 weeks, I called again and he was just completely rude. Another attorney referred me to him because he (allegedly) deals with real estate. I told him I was trying to navigate a short sale on my house. He seemed to have no idea what that even meant. He told me that I'm the banks customer and I need to call them and handle it myself. When I told him I read that it helps to have an attorney contact them, he said "well I wouldn't believe everything you read. What am I supposed to do? Tell them if they don't accept that you won't pay the mortgage? I don't think so." I would never hire an attorney that would talk to a potential client like that and you shouldn't either. Just because you think you need an attorney doesn't mean you should be subjected to someone talking to you like you're less than human."
