Both times either my insurance was canceled because the escrow department failed to handoff the payments correctly or my property taxes went delinquent because the bank failed to send any notices of new billing information. Beware. You will need to do significant leg work on your own."

"UPDATE: DON’T GET A MORTGAGE HERE. They are completely incapable of properly processing mortgage paperwork. Frank took a week to confirm this for me and said I have to go through setup for a THIRD TIME. Someone at home office was “helping” me and won’t answer/call back. They didn’t even fix my problem and made the SAME mistake again. After looking at my statements the 2nd time around, the first problem is STILL occurring. Research your mortgage provider and go anywhere but here. Being new to the area and purchasing my first home, I went to Bank of Arkansas out of ingnorance, just because a friend knew the mortgage officer. Flash forward, they messed up my mortgage, the original officer isn’t there, it’s a different officer every time I go in and the people who are any good work at other companies and have worked at those companies for a long time. Go find someone who can keep their employees, does what the told you they were going to do, doesn’t make mistakes and has been around with a reputable name for a long time. DO YOUR RESEARCH and don’t suffer from the same mistakes and mistreatment I received."
