"I thought the Heritage Center Museum was one of the most impressive museums I have ever been to. My family and I love history and art, and visit museums and art galleries frequently, so I don’t say this lightly. The collection is so comprehensive, and spans so many decades. I was especially impressed at the generosity of the families who have donated their precious heirlooms. There are so many heartfelt displays and cultural diversity. I feel like the museums is relevant not only for those interested in the local Berryville/ Carroll County history or that of Northwest Arkansas alone, but those who are interested in American history. I highly recommend visiting this treasure trove. It is three stories of artifacts ranging from a clock room, military displays from the 1800s to 2000s, pioneer and native american owned artifacts, room after room packed with antiques. It has everything you can think of -medical, from homes, papers and a research room. You have to see it to believe it. Highly recommend."
"My family and I were blessed to find this incredible treasure in berryville. After years of searching for our family roots, we visited the heritage center and we were amazed at the information and help we were given. Julie was the first person we met and she was amazing with everything she knew. Immediately after arriving and telling her what we were looking for she went to work providing us invaluable information about our family. We spent multiple days at the heritage center ...meeting Starr the president of the heritage center and they even arranged fir us to meet a cousin that lived and was once a board member of the heritage center! This place depends on donations so it is so important that when you visit, please be generous. This place and the people working there are truly a blessing. Can't wait to go back!"
"This museum dates back to early 1800s when settlers first came here awesome and sad"
"Miss Wanda and Starla are God sent for genealogist from Oklahoma! We loved the history room and will be back next month! Thanks again!"
"We arrived at 9am and were met by Miss Joanie. She was so very helpful and friendly! We did the museum visit which was very nice, as it had period pieces and local history. We then visited the research areas, where once again Miss Joanie did her very best to help us locate the materials we needed. She even made a couple of phone calls to help us with some Pension Mountain research. Thanks very much Heritage Center Museum and Miss Joanie!!!!"
