"Not nice people in the office Not a nice company at all!! They deserve negative 5!!"
"Don't count on the pricing they quote you, or the accuracy in what they say insurance will cover. Also look out for the 'assumptions' they expect you to have. They don't clearly communicate what monthly rental amounts will be. My advice, get them to put it 100% clearly on paper before you agree to service. Billing is also very delayed. Supposedly, I owe a bill from May 2023 that as yet to even reach me as of 7/17/23, but they sent it they say... When I picked up the C-Pap they made you go through a first timers course. They didn't communicate this would be 2 to 3 hours! I and the other lady in the class stated we told them we were making the appointment over our lunch break to pick it up. You would have thought the scheduling person would have mentioned it being longer than a 'normal' lunch period. Communication regarding expectations is definitely lacking. Someone tried to contact me to discuss my usage and how things were going. She left me a VM to call her back - but when I called back three different times she never answered. All three times I left her a VM and never heard from her over the span of 2 weeks....until it was time to discuss billing/payments, then she called me back. I had to return my C-PAP because it wasn't helping me. I tried it best I could - it just didn't seem like the best solution for me (that happens right?). When I returned it they said "So, you're returning this due to non-compliance?" I re-stated I was returning because it wasn't the right solution for me. and then the lady said: "So, we'll mark it non-compliance". -I don't think their recording accurate data. I feel like insurance companies need to know real reason a patient returns something like this. Just not happy with my experience here."
"I much prefer writing positive reviews but wow this place is the worst. Doesn't get back to you in a timely manner, says one thing about how your insurance covers, then wham..it only applies to your deductible, even after asking them to clarify and double check before ordering. Add that on to the pricing being way over what you can buy supplies for elsewhere...When you call billing to talk to them about it they are absolutely rude and condescending. Even my insurance carrier said they would recommend going elsewhere. NO thanks CoxHealthatHome and stop calling me to refill my supplies! I would rather get sick or purchase things out of pocket than purchase anything more from you."
"I just started using Cox health at home for medical supplies and have to say I'm impressed! I placed an order and received it the very next day. Marsha is very helpful! Thank you."
"Heather took FIVE hours for intake into hospice. She must get paid by the hour. She terrorized my daughter and me with descriptions of end of life and for my daughter to watch my facial descriptions now to recognize when I would be in pain if I couldn't speak for myself. When doing physical assessment she wanted to know how my "woo woo" (referring to my private parts) were doing (how was my "woo woo" doing?). I have lymphoma and no gynecologic problems. She wanted to know if I wanted her to look at my "woo woo". No I did not want her to look at my private parts. She was very unprofessional and sexualized the conversation making me very uuncomfortable. The bed sent was old and could be used for torture .I called 3 times after cancelling with Cox to resolve that I received no medication and wanted verification to that. Arthur never responded after two phone calls. Amy, the director,"said she would take care of it. I would definitely not use their services again because they are unprofessional, disrespectful and if a nurse doesn't know the terms of body parts, what else doesn't she know"
