"I really want to like riverside because of the price but it is really not a good course. It is not well maintained. You have to cross the road multiple times to get through even 9 holes. It's hard to find holes. The conditions aren't great. There's a ton of water you have to cross (hence the name). The carts are not maintained well, I've gotten two that had issues (one lock break didnt work consistently, the other jutted when powering on). It just isn't that fun to play here."

"I have always given this course second, third , fourth chances because the price and it is good for all skills levels but the staff is incompetent and beyond rude almost every time I play there. Which was often. I asked the bartender recently why they don’t carry AB and the owner storms out of the back and goes off. Decided not to purchase the food I order and will not be back. Also not the first time I have had a run in with the staff unprovoked. Spitting distance from grey eagle and in the city that brews AB and employs thousands. This place doesn’t care about their customers at all."

"NEVER GO HERE!!!!!! first, the man at the front desk is the biggest prick i’ve ever met in my life lol he REFUSED us a rain check because “it didn’t rain” even though we only played the front 9. He then told us that the front 9 was 31 DOLLARS! he gave us NINE DOLLARS BACK FOR THE BACK NINE! the course is horrible, feels like concrete. you probably wouldn’t know it was a course if it wasn’t for the greens. the tee times are so stacked on top of each other that you HAVE to play with 4 and you are always waiting on the people in front of you and the people behind you are always waiting on you! ALL AROUND A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Do not waste your time or money please!"

"I will never come back here ever again. First off the man in the club house is literally the rudest person I have ever encountered!! The ground feels like concrete and there is barely any grass. They don’t know how to set up proper tee times everyone is sooo stacked on top of each other! Refused to give me a rain check for the back nine I didn’t play and only refunded me 9 dollars. Don’t waste your time here worst corse in all of Missouri!"

"The golf course is in terrible shape. I get it's not a bad price, but at least make an attempt to make your fairway and greens look decent. Also, I went to get a couple of michelob ultra and was told they don't serve the AB (our local city beer) because of a can that never made it out to the public. It's pretty stupid, in my opinion. I will be boycotting their golf course just like they boycotted our hometown brewery."
