"The two people I normally deal with that work at the pharmacy are really helpful and always easy to talk to."
"Burl is behavioral health sciences and they have a lot of rules other than that it's a good place to live"
"CASE MANAGEMENT Securing Case Management services has been a frustrating process, with missed appointments and no replies to my messages. While I understand that individuals with mental health issues can be challenging to work with, I expect caseworkers to be familiar with the nature of their job. Some of my experiences included caseworkers cancelling appointments after scheduling them, or refusing to help me until the next appointment without any set date. As someone with an invisible disability, I know my difficulties are not unique, but I dislike how some people use stereotypes about mental health issues to evade accountability. Given my organized approach to scheduling, I didn't appreciate being gaslit by the assigned team that was supposed to assist me. THERAPY Kendrick Payne has been providing excellent therapy services that I have thoroughly enjoyed. He is empathetic and engaging, and his approach is exemplary. I have had several therapists in the past, but Kendrick's services have been the best. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a therapist who genuinely connects with their clients and is committed to helping them. CALL MASKS The Burrell Behavioral Health call masks are a significant issue. I am tired of receiving calls that I cannot return because nobody has left me a valid way to reach them, and I often end up being transferred multiple times when I call to try and speak to the person who contacted me. You can't even call the number back because it is a call mask that does not transfer you to the main line or anything. It is frustrating that we are expected to stay in touch with relevant parties concerning our care and that of our loved ones, yet we are being called from a number we can't return. We are pushed through the labyrinthine maze that is the Burrell Behavioral Health switchboard, risking being late or entirely missing our appointment as a result. I don't think anyone who wishes to avoid direct calls from their consumers could work in the mental health industry. I want to give a shout-out to the providers within Burrell Behavioral Health who have given direct numbers so that we can reach them when we need to and return their calls promptly."
"Thanks to the Burrell staff for their much appreciated support of the Girl Scout annual cookie campaign!"
"This place really has saved my life! They help me with mental health and addiction. Even whenever I showed up and really rough shape. I broke down and told them the truth. And they still helped me. My provider Hillary is awesome! Her and I really get on the level. She's giving me second chances. Her the nurse and the caseworker have always been there for me. I just want to say thank you. Respectfully, Hollis"
