"As much as I love Caroline's, Social BTB and the building itself, their locked bathrooms policy is ridiculous. In the Gryphon Building, there are two restaurants in the building, a barber shop, an art gallery, and a multitude of offices, including doctor's offices. Of course people will need to use the restroom and will want and need to use the closest one available. They won't want - or possibly be able to - drive down the street to other businesses who may or may not have a public restroom. And only on a rare blue moon have I seen building employees around who can or will unlock the doors. Sadly enough though, it's no big secret among those of us who live and work in downtown JoMo that most of the downtown businesses want to make sure tweakers and homeless people stay out of their bathrooms and thus the need for locked bathrooms. Or they make them off limits to the public (or at least to non-customers) altogether. It's a sad reality but indicative of the homelessness crisis in Joplin."

"My arthritis doctor is there, however the BTB social club has good food and go to the Gallery for homemade (artisan) Christmas goods/ideas. Clean place."
