"Helped D&L Transport load something on promise of getting paid almost a year later no response and were extremely agitated when I called. claimed it was on me to get the payment from either the shipping or the receiving party even though they were the ones who had set everything up. I can advise anyone looking to work for them to make sure to get paid upfront otherwise you will most likely not receive the compensation that was promised to you."

My emailed response to owner: Your staff was told yesterday afternoon that I was already in Russelville and empty. I parked less than two miles away from PU and was sleeping almost seven hours before my appointment when your staff texted me. Because I didn't answer immediately and our overnight dispatch was doing a shift change my load was canceled. It's exactly this sort of micromanaging that has carriers loathing brokers."

"Picked up a load on time on a Thursday. Delivered on time on Friday. Sent invoice on Monday. Fined $150 for not sending POD within 1 hour of delivery. What a joke. ***Update as of 12/20/23. HQ agreed to return $75 of my $150 fine. I still can't believe that I am being fined for a load that was picked up and delivered on time and invoice submitted one business day after delivery."

"We are a support company that works with small carriers and that includes a factoring company. We have several carriers that do work with them and I am always impressed with the details the brokers put on the rate confirmations. As I started noticing them a earlier this year, I have asked my clients that work with them what they think and they always give positive reviews. One comment a couple of months ago was that even when something goes sideways (it is transportation) they help the carriers get it figured out. The recent load that I saw Garrison was the broker.
