"Mix treats designated drivers well (free soda). The atmosphere is pleasant and fun most of the time. Nice place to relax or go on show nights for a more energetic environment. Nicer alcohol type drinks are a bit pricey. Fairly standard on most other prices. The nights when it's quieter/less busy are relaxing after a hard day, unless a few drama queens are there and not many other people to socialize. It's worth noting: Mix still closes at midnight on Sunday nights instead of 1:30 AM. They never extended their hours after the state laws changed in 2021. But, with the small number of patrons on Sunday nights, one can see the justification there from a business standpoint."

"Terrible experience! A bartender by the name of Ryan Waters was extremely rude and nasty to me and my friend. My friend who bartends in STL was here for the weekend, I took him out to Martha’s and mix, and he was wondering about employment. When he asked Ryan about possibly getting hired, Ryan looked him up and down and said “no you couldn’t make it. You’re too fat to work here. Your friend could work here though” He was obviously just being plain mean. Not a fan of his attitude and the way he treated a new customer. Will not be returning."

"Very friendly atmosphere. Drag show on Tuesday nights. Plenty of seating. Dance floor. Caters primarily to gay men but all are welcome. Enclosed covered outdoor patio for smoking. Bare feet welcome. Variety of beers available. Large selection of alcoholic beverages. Mixed drinks. Soft drinks. Seating at bar and at tables. Pool table."
