Mountaintop Homes is a new construction community located in Mount Vernon, Missouri, developed by O’Reilly Development Company in partnership with Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri. This development offers affordable housing options for Veterans and their families, with a focus on creating a diverse and inclusive environment. The community consists of forty-two residential townhomes for rent, with a mix of two- and three-bedroom units. Eight units are specifically designated for at-risk Veterans and their families.

The goal of Mountaintop Homes is to provide safe, affordable, and inclusive housing for residents, with access to supportive services provided by Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri. The development is designed with a modern aesthetic and includes amenities such as fully equipped kitchens, ceiling fans, and washer/dryer equipment in each unit. Residents will have access to a community space/playground and on-site Housing Resource Coordinator to assist with resources and programming.

In addition to providing quality housing, Mountaintop Homes is committed to green practices and will meet the requirements of the NAHB National Green Building Standard. This includes energy and water efficiency, indoor environmental quality, and building education.
