"We happened on this place while driving around Lexington yesterday. From this angle, shown in the picture, it was well maintained but after climbing the stairs it was apparent that some parts hadn't been touched in years. Not a hit on whoever maintains places like this at all though. It's a lot of work and I'm not sure if attendance would warrant much upgrading. But overall once at the top it's a great view of the river area."
"Very interesting! Was not even looking for this, but on my way to Lexington for the battle museum. Lucky I took this road instead of listening to my map app! Nestled into the hillside directly on the road, I simply had to walk up the stairs! I would have enjoyed more information, but as a memorial I think it does a fine job to the memories of those lost."
