Reviews of Monument to the Eight Witnesses
"A gravel drive stops at a gate off the side of the road. It's enough for two-three cars parked front to back. You walk from the gate to the cemetery gate. It's a small cemetery with only a few graves and the Monument to the Eight Witnesses. The monument is beautiful, and the area surrounding it is well kept. It's small but peaceful."
"Such a beautiful place with a very peaceful feeling. It's kind of off the beaten track, but not hard to find."
"Not much parking space, but a beautiful meadow contains the 8 witness memorial and a grouped set of 3 grave markers. There is a picnic table and benches for a family picnic. Dropped star for lack of parking."
"Such a wonderful gem. There are benches and a picnic table to enjoy this place."
"This is a beautiful, peaceful site. There is just a little gravel parking lot for about 2 cars. At first we thought we were in the wrong place and should have a different entrance because it is a fenced off property. But if you walk up the hill a little there is a gate to get in. This is not owned or maintained by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -day Saints. We were so happy to find some sort of memorial for Zion's camp. Also learned about the first Stake in Missouri. You will probably only spend 15-20 minutes here but we really enjoyed it. There are no facilities."
