"The staff at the Oliver were INCREDIBLE. They were always open to our questions and requests. They’re so organized and detailed I didn’t have to stress or worry about anything falling through the cracks from the time we booked them til the end of our wedding day. They kept the day flowing perfectly and made sure everyone was where they needed to be. We had a couple meetings beforehand to review everything and make sure we were good to go with no questions or confusion - which was super helpful when coordinating other vendors as well. We loved having the space for the whole weekend so there was no rush or pressure to be out the same day, giving us time to relax a bit and enjoy the day with our family and friends. I 10/10 recommend this team and their space!"
"If you want a venue that is beautiful and has enough space so you can host your entire wedding weekend there - then The Oliver Building is for you. As wedding planners, we love working there! The building has three different floors making a fun layout for your wedding day. The first floor is perfect for a fun cocktail hour and the second floor does a great job supporting both a ceremony and then flipping to the reception. The staircase leading from the top floor is the perfect way for the Bride to enter the ceremony! There is plenty of space for what you need to have a great time - and with so much charm and character. On top of that, the staff at The Oliver Building make the whole process smooth and easy. Highly recommend! -Heather, TPTKC"
"Caitlin made everything so easy for our wedding reception. I cannot thank her enough for all that she did for us. We didn't have to worry about a thing during the reception and we could just enjoy our night. We also loved the fact that we got the whole space from Friday evening through Sunday morning to set up and take down. Absolutely beautiful space inside and so charming. Parking was abundant for our guests, and we had a dedicated space behind a locked fence for our car. We appreciated the numerous check ins to make sure our night was perfect, and it was. Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a wedding reception in the downtown KC area."
"The Oliver was the perfect and most amazing venue for my daughter's wedding. The staff is very helpful and easy to work with and always accessible. The building is stunning and majestic and has everything needed for getting ready, putting on the wedding and having the reception-all in one building. We were thrilled with everything and will not hesitate to book with the Oliver the next time we need event space."
"I am a wedding planner and The Oliver Building is one of my new favorite venues in the KC area!! The uniqueness in the architecture is amazing. Every time you turn a corner in this space, there is something new and cool to see. I really love the history of the building and the integrity that they have kept throughout all these years. I recently hosted a KC wedding vendor networking event with The Oliver Building and enjoyed the entire process. The venue coordinator Caitlin, owners Steve and Curtis, plus their staff are great to work with. The space was clean, well taken care of and so welcoming. I hope to do a lot of weddings at this stunning venue in the future. I will recommend it to all my clients!"
