"My experience yesterday, Tuesday, August 29th in the early afternoon, with this Pharmacy was the last straw. I've been a customer of this specific store for 20+ years. The quality of service has progressively worsened over the years, to the point now where it is crystal clear why Walgreen's stock has plummeted. Following a doctor appointment where two prescriptions were called in to the pharmacy, I drove directly there to avoid having to drive home, only to have to return later in the day. I live far enough away that it is not optimal to do this. The young lady who initially connected with me was terrific. She was quite amiable and helpful. She got my prescription ready to go, I checked out, and was leaving, but noticed that one part of the prescription was not included in the bag. I returned to the check-out counter and explained my situation. The pharmacist told me that the missing portion had not been received, so there was nothing she could do. I explained that it was odd that only one portion had been received when both were sent at the same time. She double-checked her order, and told me to call the doctor's office, which I did once I returned to my car. Again, I returned to the pharmacy counter to let the pharmacist know that the doctor would give her the script over the phone if she would call. This is where the rude behavior began from the pharmacist. She told me that she would not call because she was getting ready to go on her lunch break. WHAT?!? Really? A phone call literally takes one minute. She said that she wouldn't call right then because she would probably be put on hold, or would have to leave a message, and that it would probably take an hour just to get that accomplished - and reiterated that she was getting ready to go to lunch. Yes, she said that again. I explained that I would have to drive all the way home, just to have to return later. Honestly, I was flabbergasted at her blatant, snarky attitude. I understood her point about the fact that it would probably not be an immediate result, but I felt that simply making the attempt would confirm what she was telling me. I just looked at her, told her that it was important that she got ready for her lunch break, as that was obviously more important than me. I left. Halfway home, she called me to tell me that she'd left a message with the doctor's office. Her attitude was still abrasive. Why she could not have called while I was still there is a mystery. She needs to realize that her behavior is being noted by the lovely young lady who initially helped me. What kind of role model is this pharmacist? Pathetic. The bottom line here is that the customer is apparently not important - although without customers, these people have no jobs. This is not an isolated incident, sadly. This is what the customer service has become. After 20+ years, it is time for me to move on. I will close my account with Walgreen's today."
"Doctor called prescription was notified it was sent Insurance denied it was put in a holding file never contacted about it till I went in out of stock would have to order sent me to another one said was in stock got there did not have it. Girls very nice said Leawood had it I could go there. I live in Olathe why would I want to drive that far. They could order be Monday cause there closed on Weekends. It’s all good doctor called it into CVS they took care of me. Yup lost my business!!!!!"
"So frustrated with this location!!! I scheduled an appointment for a COVID test, and when I showed up there was a sign saying the drive-thru was closed. I called and spoke to someone in the store who told me to come inside. When I spoke with the pharmacy, they told me they were short staffed and not doing tests today. Supposedly, the manager had called to cancel all appointments. I had no missed calls, no voicemails, no email, nothing. Really sucks when it takes days to get in for a COVID test around here. This alone would have frustrated me, but it's what happened next that really pushed me over the edge. The lady in the pharmacy told me to go to the location at 127th and Pflumm and that they would help me. So I drive the 15 min to that location, and wait 30 min in the car line for the drive-thru. At that point the pharmacist there said she had no time to help customers from other locations, and she would not do my test. Just all around, everyone there is disrespectful of people's time. I'm done giving Walgreens any business."
"I had an appointment for the covid booster and flu vaccine. They cancelled my appointment an hour and a half beforehand without any explanation why in the email. I rescheduled online for the same time thinking it was just a system error. I show up and there's a sign at the pharmacy saying that this location is not doing any vaccines. Walgreens, please take this location down from your vaccine availability schedule to save people the frustration. And for crying out loud put explanations why an appointment was cancelled in the email."
"I've used Walgreens for years but unfortunately you can't trust this one for your prescriptions at this point. The pharmacy closed for multiple days with no advance notice. They had also "pulled" my prescription, despite the fact they hadn't filled it, so no other pharmacy would fill it until they released it first. When they did open back up I called to get the prescription moved and sat on hold for over half an hour to no answer. I finally went up there in person and neither person behind the counter was answering phone calls, but I got them to release the script. The result is I was six days late getting my medication and my script was essentially held hostage by this location for pulling it, not filling it, and then closing up so I couldn't speak to them to get it released to another pharmacy. I won't ever fill a script here again because I don't want to be caught in limbo like this again. Stay far away from this pharmacy."
