"If my husband and I could give them 10,000 stars we would! My husband is a major car geek and crashed his first ever one he built. Although the accident wasn’t his fault, it crushed him to have to get rid of it as it was totaled and auctioned off. Upon January 1st of 2023 with the help of a vin search, we found his car! It had been rebuilt and sold to Katy Motors in Sedalia, MO to sell. Us being from Wisconsin, we were dying to get our hands back on it and were willing to do whatever it took! With the amazing help of the sweet owners and a little patience, we drove down to Missouri to pick the car up and trailer it back. We couldn’t thank these guys enough, and since this experience have mentioned them to many family members and friends as we would without a doubt purchase a car from them again if possible. Above all their attitudes and helpfulness were incomparable to anything we had felt before from a car purchase. The owners both went in on a day they were technically closed to help us seal the deal. "I purchased a salvaged title truck for my small business. We purchased this truck with warranty to make sure that if anything happened we would be taken care of. After purchase of the truck the brake system failed, we found out that the wrong transfer case had been installed, several electrical components and other engine components were Frankensteined together and after a few months of having the truck in and out of the mechanics the worst happened and the engine locked up. The warranty this dealer said would cover did not cover any of the failures because we were using the truck commercially. Katy sold the truck to our business but sold us a warranty personally. Katy said it was our fault we didn’t ask for a commercial warranty. If we would have known it was an option we would have asked for it. We just thought a warranty is a warranty? I spent aprox $40k on the truck and had another $50k in damages that had to be fixed after. I don’t know if Katy motors knew that the truck had so many problems. They told me that their mechanics had been over everything and there was nothing wrong with the truck. My mechanics after the fact said it was so obvious to see even before the issues started. I do feel they absolutely said and did whatever it took to sell us this truck. These people are the used car sales men you always heard about. We did get reimbursed $3k for the cost of the warranty….only $47k more to go Katy. Buyer Beware."
