"My wife and I had our wedding weekend at the Rivers Lodge & Hunt Club in mid-November and it was an amazing experience all around. We rented the venue for the weekend, which gave us access to the Clubhouse, Lodge, Annex, and the Barn Venue. I had my bachelor party get together on Thursday evening at the Lodge and Clubhouse. In the lodge we had access to a full kitchen and, outside of food, all the pots, pans, dishes, etc were provided. We grilled on a charcoal Weber grill that they provided and then a short walk away was the clubhouse. The clubhouse had a full bar (cash/card bar) and a poker table top as well as chips for a game. If we had planned better, we could have hired a poker dealer that they have a relationship with. We were able to smoke cigars right out side by the fire pit, and if the weather had been a bit warmer, there was a deck over looking the pond and we could have played outside. We had our rehearsal dinner at the clubhouse the next night and the proprietors were extremely accommodating. They worked with our caterers and, to my knowledge, there were no issues to speak of. The wedding was beautiful and took place outside of the barn on a large patio overlooking another pond and the reception was held immediately inside the barn so there was very little walking or "travel" in that regard. I will note, not that it was a surprise or any issue, but the parking was about an eighth or a quarter of a mile up the road, so we had a couple golf carts to usher people to and from the venue, but we knew that would be the case well ahead of time, just wanted to note that for anyone planning an event. I would love to book the venue for an event in the future if I have occasion to. Also, I didn't even list all the amenities that they provided (I've already carried on far too long), but if you have a question, make sure to ask, because from my experience, they will go out of their way to accommodate reasonable requests."

"Beautiful location where we attended a friend's wedding. The ceremony was intimate and outdoors. White chairs, beautiful scenery. SAFETY CONCERN: There were several rather large holes in the ground near the ceremony area. Lots of elderly and women in heels walking around. Please look for these and fill them in immediately. There was several indoor areas, one where we did drinks and snacks while we waited for the wedding party. It had a nice deck that attached to a dock over the pond. Very pretty. Then the reception barn opened up for dinner and the reception. Of course the wedding party did a fantastic job of decorating but it's just a really neat venue with a small stage and enough room for maybe a hundred people? Then right outside the barn was a cement patio overlooking the property and the pond for dancing. Super cute."
