"I drove an hour from Sedalia to hear some great live music! I love the old building, tin panels on the ceiling, brick walls, hardwood floors, Chesterfield sofas and cocktail tables, and cool lighting all give the place a beautiful vibe. Their website reads that one should use their best manners and at the bar a small unobtrusive sign reminds you to use your "lounge voice". It is a lovely evening. The ONLY suggestion I would offer to the management would be to also request that guests and staff dress up a bit. Too many torn jeans and sneakers for the type of atmosphere they are trying to promote, I think. Maybe a dress code of sorts would be nice. I heard a great jazz quartet and had a very nice evening."

"We visited the 1909 Club last night, and it exceeded all our expectations (which were already high because we are big fans of Libations). The music was great, and the atmosphere was its own jazzy vibe. Add to that the incredible craft cocktails and service, and we’ll definitely be back!"

"This is a live Jazz Venue in Lee's Summit! If you love live music this is a fun place. There is classic prohibition club era decor vibe, great mixed drinks and a very good selection of whiskey. Perfect place to go with friends, sip a few drinks, listen to music and still be able to talk, perfect! Give it a try, you will not be disappointed."
